21:16 Monday.
You know, a week is just a week. Only a week ago i started this diary, and so much has happened since. I'm home now, typing this at my desktop computer. It's still very warm.

We got up at seven thirty, and after a quick shower we hurried to the HALL tent to see if they still had ethernet. Yesterday night, TV3000 broke down their stand and I gaven them the wireless card back. But we weren't lucky, while about half of the PC's were still there there was not one hub left. At the campsite table there was a single UTP line, we tried that, but it didn't work any more. MJ called NRC about the article, and I had to wait with ftp-ing till I got home. I just uploaded the pages.
While early in the morning there were still many tents at field one, by the time we started to break down our tent most of the other tents had gone. This was at about ten, after we had waited for breakfast that didn't come so we had some evergreen biscuits. The tent wasn't that dirty (I hate cleaning a dirty tent) and taking it down took only half an hour or so. Btw, Marianne had left yesterday night. She works hard on mondays and tuesdays when de Groene has to be edited (which she does). She's pregnant, and I wanted to feed the cat who had been without food for two days, so I took her to Amstel Station to save her some busriding and trainsitting. She's a darling.
The cat was very happy when I arrived. It purred and meowed, and when I filled its foodscale it ate everything within a couple of minutes. Double portion. My cat is 17 years old, and still very healthy.

Racing back to HIP I got there in time for the closing ceremony.
While searching for a working hub in the morning we offered to give Zlobomir a lift home. He's been working on the online journal day and night. The journal people (Nina's crew) all have been working hard. Whenever you entered the HALL tent, their computers were all occupied. As soon as we entered the highway, Zlobomir fell asleep....
I hope he went to bed soon as he got home. We left him at the DDS office where his bike was.
Oh, I forgot, when buying coffee we saw they still had some cans of Jolt. We decided to do the organizers a favour and save them taking home a heavy tray of Jolt.
