The lecture of Rop was interesting. But I wrote my diary and in the tent it was soooo hot, my computer went out of power (my cable isn't long enough to span half the circus tent and besides, I left the cable in my tent), so I went to the HALL tent to upload my piece. On the last bits of power I could upload some text, before the computer definitely stopped. I then met Josephine, who's pregnant. Pregnant at HIP. Marianne too, btw. So there we were, in the shade of the big circus tent (by Circus Renz), listening to Rop and the others discussing spam, we were talking children, birth, pregnancy and heat. That too is HIP.
Right now, everybody here in this tent is jealous. Power went, computers go, but I can still work. What's even better, my hub still works. I like those HIPcar guys who maintain this wireless network. *g*

Back at the tent, where I picked up my cable and MJ installed some software on here computer (she got it from her office, without any internet sofware), I tried to connect thru our old 386 "flippertje".
Hmmm. My battery is running low, there's no power here, so I suspect I'll have to log off. It's 15:15 now....oops, when power comes back, just in time.

Webgrrls is here too. They (we?) have a big big tent, I haven't seen one of them around except Oona, but unfortunately they don't have any computers. There's webgrrls who do have computers but they're not in the webgrrls tent. What happened to webgrrls in Holland? I wonder why they're here if they don't have computers.

This is the DDS journal team I'm facing now.

They're working on today's journal, featuring a link to this diary ;-) To the left of me, the HIPcar is moving out of the tent.
